STATE OF MICHIGAN

IN THE THIRD JUDICIAL CIRCUIT FOR THE COUNTY OF WAYNE
                                FAMILY DIVISION, DOMESTIC RELATIONS

ADRIENNE MARJORIE ROCKENHAUS, Case No. 26-104594-DO
   Plaintiff,
                                                                      Hon. Nicole N. Goodson
 v.

 CONRAD ALAN ROCKENHAUS,
  Defendant.

DEFENDANT'S MOTION TO RESTRICT ACCESS TO PROTECTED PERSONAL
IDENTIFYING INFORMATION ON FILED EXHIBITS AND TO FILE REDACTED
                           REPLACEMENT EXHIBITS

NOW COMES Defendant, Conrad Alan Rockenhaus, appearing pro se, and pursuant to MCR 1.109(D)(9),
MCR 8.119(I), and the Court's inherent authority over its own records, respectfully moves this Honorable
Court for an Order restricting public access to two exhibits previously filed in this matter that contain
protected personal identifying information, and for leave to file redacted replacement exhibits in their place.
In support thereof, Defendant states as follows:

                                             I. INTRODUCTION
1. On post-filing review of pleadings filed in this matter on April 15, 2026 and April 16, 2026, Defendant
identified two exhibits that contain protected personal identifying information visible on the face of the
filed document. The protected information falls within the categories enumerated at MCR 1.109(D)(9)(a),
specifically Social Security numbers, government-issued personal identification numbers, and financial
   account numbers.
2. The information was inadvertently included by Defendant, who is appearing pro se and prepared the
filings without the assistance of counsel. Defendant promptly identified the defect on subsequent review
and now moves to cure it.
3. The relief requested is administrative in nature: that the originally-filed exhibits be restricted from public
access, that redacted replacement exhibits be substituted on the docket for purposes of public display,
and that the underlying substantive content of the exhibits, which is non-protected, remain available to
the parties and the Court for all evidentiary purposes.

                                               II. AUTHORITY
4. MCR 1.109(D)(9) governs the inclusion of protected personal identifying information in court filings.
Subsection (a) defines "protected personal identifying information" to include, among other categories: a
date of birth; a Social Security number or government-issued personal identification number; a driver's
license number or state personal identification card number; a passport number; and a financial account
number. Subsection (b) directs that protected personal identifying information shall not be included in a
filing unless required by law, court rule, or court order, and that any such information that is included
shall be filed in a separate non-public addendum or with the protected information redacted.
 5. MCR 8.119(I) governs sealed and restricted records and authorizes the Court, on motion, to limit access
to court records on a showing of good cause. Restriction of access to documents containing
inadvertently-disclosed protected personal identifying information falls squarely within the rule's purpose.
 6. Federal exposure considerations. Beyond the Michigan Court Rules, the disclosed information
includes federal benefits-administration identifiers and account routing information for federally-protected
veterans benefits. Continued public availability of those identifiers presents an ongoing risk of identity
theft, benefits fraud, and unauthorized access to Defendant's federal benefits accounts.

                       III. PROTECTED INFORMATION REQUIRING REDACTION
              A. Exhibit A to Defendant's Motion for Change of Venue (filed April 15, 2026)

 7. Exhibit A to Defendant's Motion for Change of Venue is a copy of the residential lease for 26695 Ross
