STATE OF MICHIGAN

IN THE THIRD JUDICIAL CIRCUIT FOR THE COUNTY OF WAYNE
                               FAMILY DIVISION, DOMESTIC RELATIONS

ADRIENNE MARJORIE ROCKENHAUS, Case No. 26-104594-DO
   Plaintiff/Counter‑Defendant,
                                                                    Hon. Nicole N. Goodson
 v.

 CONRAD ALAN ROCKENHAUS,
  Defendant/Counter‑Plaintiff.

DEFENDANT/COUNTER-PLAINTIFF'S RESPONSE TO MOTION TO WITHDRAW AS
                              COUNSEL

NOW COMES Defendant/Counter‑Plaintiff Conrad Alan Rockenhaus, appearing pro se, and respectfully
submits this Response to the Motion to Withdraw as Counsel filed by Aldrich Legal Services, PLLC and Lisa
R. Baker (P82555) on April 23, 2026 (the "Motion to Withdraw"), as re-noticed for hearing on May 20, 2026
at 9:15 a.m. via Zoom. In support of this Response, Defendant/Counter‑Plaintiff states as follows:

                                             INTRODUCTION
Defendant/Counter‑Plaintiff does not oppose the substantive relief sought by the Motion to Withdraw. The
attorney-client relationship between Aldrich Legal Services, PLLC and Plaintiff/Counter‑Defendant is a
matter between counsel and her client, and Defendant/Counter‑Plaintiff takes no position on the grounds
asserted by counsel.
Defendant/Counter‑Plaintiff does, however, respectfully request that any Order granting withdrawal include
specific provisions necessary to ensure an orderly post-withdrawal transition and to protect the integrity of
the existing case record. This case has substantial pending activity. Eight motions by
Defendant/Counter‑Plaintiff await calendar assignment. Plaintiff/Counter‑Defendant has a pending Motion
to Set Aside Default of Counterclaim. Defendant/Counter‑Plaintiff's First Set of Interrogatories and First
Requests for Production of Documents to Plaintiff are pending without complete response. A Domestic
Relations Settlement Conference is scheduled for June 4, 2026. A Motion to Determine Sufficiency, Compel,
and for Discovery Sanctions is in preparation by Defendant/Counter‑Plaintiff for filing on or about May 19,
2026. The Court's Order should account for these realities so that Plaintiff/Counter‑Defendant's transition to
pro se status does not disrupt the case progression.
