ADRIENNE MARJORIE ROCKENHAUS, Case No. 26-104594-DO
Plaintiff/Counter-Defendant,
Hon. Nicole N. Goodson
v.
CONRAD ALAN ROCKENHAUS,
Defendant/Counter-Plaintiff.
AFFIDAVIT OF CONRAD A. ROCKENHAUS REGARDING OCTOBER 2025 FEDERAL
SENTENCING OBSERVATIONS
STATE OF MICHIGAN )
) ss.
COUNTY OF WASHTENAW )
I, Conrad A. Rockenhaus, being duly sworn and under penalty of perjury, hereby state the following:
1. IDENTITY. My name is Conrad A. Rockenhaus. I am 44 years of age. I reside at 1690 Brookfield Drive,
Ann Arbor, Michigan 48103. I am the Defendant/Counter-Plaintiff in the above-captioned matter.
2. PURPOSE AND BASIS OF KNOWLEDGE. I provide this Affidavit based on my personal, firsthand
knowledge of events that occurred during my federal criminal sentencing in October 2025 at the Theodore
Levin United States Courthouse in Detroit, Michigan, involving Plaintiff/Counter-Defendant Adrienne Marjorie
Rockenhaus and an individual subsequently identified to me as Skyler Egert.
3. CONTEXT OF FEDERAL CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS. In October 2025, I appeared as the defendant in
federal criminal proceedings before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan at
the Theodore Levin United States Courthouse located at 231 West Lafayette Boulevard, Detroit, Michigan.
The proceedings included an initial sentencing date that was adjourned and a subsequent final sentencing
hearing at which I was sentenced.
4. PLAINTIFF'S ATTENDANCE AND COMPANION. Plaintiff Adrienne Marjorie Rockenhaus personally
attended both of the federal proceedings described in paragraph 3 above as a member of the public. At both
proceedings, Plaintiff was accompanied by an adult male whom I had not previously met. I subsequently
learned from Ann Helgren, after the proceedings concluded, that the man who accompanied Plaintiff to my
federal court hearings was identified to her by Plaintiff as Skyler Egert. Plaintiff did not at any time before,
during, or after the federal proceedings introduce this man to me. Prior to my federal sentencing
proceedings in October 2025, I had not previously met Skyler Egert, did not know him, and had no prior
personal or professional relationship with him of any kind.
5. CUSTODIAL POSTURE AND UNITED STATES MARSHALS SERVICE PRESENCE. Throughout the
final sentencing hearing described in paragraph 3 above, I was in the custody of two Deputy United States
Marshals of the United States Marshals Service for the Eastern District of Michigan. Both Deputy Marshals
were assigned to me throughout the hearing. Both Deputy Marshals were physically present in the
courtroom and remained in close proximity to me at the defense table throughout the hearing.
6. ALLOCUTION AND APOLOGY TO PLAINTIFF. During the final sentencing hearing, I exercised my right
of allocution before the Court. As part of my allocution, I directly addressed Plaintiff Adrienne Marjorie
Rockenhaus and apologized to her in open court. The apology was delivered while Plaintiff was seated in
the public gallery of the courtroom.
7. OBSERVATION OF SKYLER EGERT PLAYING WITH PLAINTIFF'S HAIR IMMEDIATELY
FOLLOWING APOLOGY. Immediately following the conclusion of my apology to Plaintiff described in
paragraph 6 above, I personally observed Skyler Egert play with Plaintiff's hair while seated next to her in
the public gallery of the courtroom. I observed the conduct from my position at the defense table while in the
immediate physical custody of, and in close proximity to, the two Deputy United States Marshals identified in
paragraph 5 above. The observation was made in open court under conditions of unobstructed line of sight
