STATE OF MICHIGAN
THIRD JUDICIAL CIRCUIT COURT, WAYNE COUNTY
ADRIENNE MARJORIE ROCKENHAUS, Petitioner,
v.
CONRAD ALAN ROCKENHAUS, Respondent.
Case No. 26-102221-PP
Hon. PPO Docket Judge
Hearing: April 29, 2026 at 11:30 AM (Zoom)
EXHIBIT 4
Petitioner's February 14, 2026 Public Post, “Happy Valentine's Day,
Conrad”
Description:
Screenshot of Petitioner Adrienne Rockenhaus's verified X (formerly Twitter) account @adezero
(10,200+ followers), showing a public post dated February 14, 2026 reading “Happy Valentine's Day,
Conrad. We both deserved better than this.” accompanied by a photograph of Petitioner and
Respondent together. Post was made six days before Petitioner filed the ex parte PPO petition on
February 20, 2026.
Relevance:
This post is materially inconsistent with the allegations in the PPO petition. A person who is in
reasonable apprehension of imminent harm from a named individual does not, six days before seeking
an ex parte restraining order against that individual, publish a sentimental Valentine's Day message to
him on a public, searchable social media account with 10,200+ followers. The post demonstrates that
Petitioner's public affect toward Respondent in the days immediately preceding the PPO filing was one
of sentimentality and mutual grief, not fear. This exhibit is offered as contemporaneous public
statement under MRE 803(3) reflecting Petitioner's then-existing state of mind.
Submitted by Conrad Alan Rockenhaus, Respondent (pro se)
In Support of Respondent's Motion to Terminate Personal Protection Order
